Studio Rules

Signing Up
All classes require a reservation and empty classes will be cancelled up to 36 hours in advance. Our cancellation policy is 12 hours. You can join a class that is still on the scheduled the day of up to 4 hours in advance, space permitting. Exceptions may be made for late cancellations due to extenuating circumstances.

In order to attend Open Practice / Jams it is a requirement to be enrolled in a sessional class at FLY. If you stop taking sessional classes, you will be unable to attend jams 6 weeks after your latest sessions ends. Any jam credits you have will remain on your account with an extended expiry for future use or can be converted to be used towards another purchase.

Safety
Safety is #1! Crash mats are here for your benefit and should be used! You never know when you will NEED it.

Clients teaching each other new moves or variations is a liability  issue for the studio and for YOU! Sharing tips and comparing notes with others at your same level and based on what you learned in class is okay, but do not teach each other moves (yes, especially off of Instagram or YouTube!) and ask instructors (not each other) for safe spotting.

Please remove jewelry from hands and wrists for ALL Aerial and Pole classes, workshops and events! Jewelry isn't good for the equipment and much of our equipment isn't good for your jewelry! Our fabrics should be treated like your best pair of stockings! Jewelry is really bad for fabrics as are rough or jagged nails, zippers, etc.

Always stick to the class content being taught, even if you are attending a lower (to you) level class.
If you arrive late please enter a class quietly and warm yourself up. If you are more than 10 minutes late it is advisable to not join the class at all. Some exceptions may be made with advanced notice.

If you are sick, please remove yourself from class and stay home and please email to let us know.

Studio Etiquette
At FLY we don't just accept difference - we celebrate it, we support it and we thrive on it! By attending FLY, you acknowledge that FLY is an inclusive environment for all and agree to treat everyone you encounter at FLY with respect and kindness.

Out of respect for instructors' prep time, other clients' class time and insurance requirements, do NOT enter a studio area until your instructor signals that class is due to start!

Always be conscious of others when taking photos or video.

Clean equipment after use - everywhere you touched them! Please clean any mats you use.

Please take any post-class conversations out of the studio area!

If someone is waiting for you during your class they may wait in the reception area. If you are in a bind with the dilemma of either missing a class or having to bring your child, it is acceptable to bring them but it is up to you to keep your child in your view and supervised at all times.

FLY is a mask-friendly environment.

Forget the word "CAN'T".
